What can we do to improve our student’s chances to find a career they love?
Welcome to Mapping Your Future Day!
Our hope is that kids will discover their strengths and passions and match them with a plan, purpose, and engaging career to pursue following graduation.
If we can provide them a map for their future, they are much more likely to be happy and hopeful adults who will give back to the school and the community.
Here are two of our students in action! Listen as Parker and Emma map their future the Wylie Way!
Emma, Parker and every kid in every picture on this site have set their sights on the future, and we know they will be extremely successful.
The foundation of every successful educational begins with a positive relationship between a student and a teacher. Achievement education requires that every student has a positive relationship with a caring adult in their school experience that guides them towards success.
We firmly believe that if we can help our students identify and grow strongly in their strengths and interests, we can set their feet on the path to achievement. We all have innate gifts and talents; we want our students to explore what theirs are and allow them to grow as confident individuals
Graduates in the 21st Century should possess the social and emotional savviness to navigate adulthood with character. This includes exploring, understanding an embracing core ethical values to guide them as well as brand and market themselves in an ever-evolving world
Educational achievement should include proactively mapping a meaningful career for their professional future, ranging from simple awareness at the elementary level to readiness by “test-driving their future” during high school.
