Both of our children attend WISD with Dr. Vinson leading the way and we could not be more pleased! The district's focus on academics and good character are evident daily. Our son was identified early as a student with dyslexia but through appropriate intervention, he recently achieved straight A’s in advanced classes! Our daughter also excels thanks to Wylie ISD and their emphasis on academic excellency. As a volunteer in the schools I see the focus on being a caring, giving citizen a natural part of the learning experience. Students receive consistent accolades for demonstrating empathy and kindness throughout the day! Thank you to the Wylie ISD for being a district that emphasizes academics and caring.
